Delaware Valley Children's Charity! The staff of Paxon Hollow Middle School and Russell Elementary participated in the Delaware Valley Children's Charity Holiday Program. As you can see the music room at Paxon Hollow was overflowing with all the generously wrapped items! The staff has participated in this program for over 12 years.
The annual Delaware Valley Children's Charity Holiday Program matches sponsors with children in need. Through groups, businesses, families, and individuals, sponsors commit to providing for their assigned child (for the holidays) completely. The new, warm clothing, toys, and food not only delight the children for the holidays, but take them through the winter season as well. Year after year, the holiday program evokes a combination of spirit, generosity, compassion, and gratitude. To know one of these emotions is certainly valuable; to be part of them all is a true experience. There are
over 6000
children in the program this year.

Alumni Directory -- The Superintendent and Board of School Directors have authorized Harris Connect, a nationally recognized, reputable company, to reach out and contact alumni and develop a district alumni directory. It has been over 10 years since the Marple Newtown School District authorized the publishing of an alumni directory. We hope to share exciting district events, such as the renovation of our facilities to be 21st century schools, potentially start an alumni association and provide alumni the opportunity to reconnect with each other. Alumni will receive a postcard with instructions on how to verify their contact information. Participation in this endeavor is totally voluntary and we hope alumni will take advantage of this opportunity to stay connected with the District.
