The school that wins two or more of these events earns the esteemed "Potter Cup." There will also be food, fun, games and prizes for children of all ages. The proceeds from this event will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand, an organization dedicated to pediatric cancer research. Over the past years, our schools have donated over $110,000 to Alex's Lemonade Stand. The theme for the event is "Kids Helping Kids". In order to assist with transportation, we will be offering the following Potter Cup Package: (All families are encouraged to attend, but the package is for Paxon Hollow students only.)
The attached forms: permission slips/package registration, medical release and checks must be received by Friday, January 14, 2009. Please make checks payable to Paxon Hollow PTO. Any student suspended or with discipline issues will, at the discretion of the Principal or Assistant Principal, lose his/her privilege to attend this event. There will be no refunds for any reason. Important Health Information: If your child is attending the Potter Cup and normally receives afternoon prescription medications, the nurse will administer those meds prior to departure at 1:30 pm. Please be advised that medications including inhalers and EpiPens will not be dispensed from the nursing office to accompany your child. Also, nursing services are not available to your child after the closing school hours of Haverford High School. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Health Office at 610 359 4330 prior to January 23rd. Thank you, Diane Freeman RN |
